It’s the weekend and time for a little R&R to keep the creative juices flowing!  Not sure what to do?  Here’s a couple fun happenings in and around town!

Val Days  (June 2-4)
Sand volleyball, garage sales, BBQ, craft fair, pancake feed, cooler races, a horse shoe tournament, ice cream social, train rides, pedal tractor pull, duck races, a live auction, chainsaw carving, and a parade are just some of the many events.

Elkhorn Days (June 2-4)
Community celebration including a parade, family festival, dodgeball tournament, hot-air balloon rides, fireworks and much much more.  The parade will take place Saturday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. on Main Street.

Movie & Wine under the Stars (June 2)
Date night?  Try this Movie and Wine under the stars.  After they close for the evening you can join in under the stars as James Arthur Vineyards provides wine, snacks and a flick!

Taste of Omaha (June 2-4)
The 2017 “TASTE OF OMAHA” located in Omaha’s riverfront parks showcases outstanding restaurants with exciting live entertainment daily with activities on two Riverfront Parks, the Heartland of America Park and Lewis & Clark Landing.

This year, they’ve added more entertainment for everyone’s taste on 6 stages throughout the Festival. All stage shows during the 3-day extravaganza are free to attend. Top National Entertainers combined with the best popular area bands and musicians will again be continuously performing throughout the Festival.

Friday Nights Live (June 2)
Starting this Friday night and every night thereafter until August 25, bring your lawn chair, blanket and takeout from one of SouthPointe’s eateries to the Center Courtyard.

Haymarket Farmer’s Market (June 3)
Starting at 8am until noon, rain or shine, customers may peruse the Market and ask vendors to set aside merchandise during set up; however, no purchases are allowed until the Market whistle blows at 8:00 a.m.  Performers are staged in Iron Horse Park, located at 7th & “Q” Street, and generally attract crowds between 9:00-11:00 a.m.  Don’t miss out on this awesome Saturday morning treat!
